Observed in communities nationwide, the Red Sand Project is a powerful public art and awareness event that shines a light on the issue of human trafficking and exploitation.

This week, North Star Initiative will be part of two Red Sand Project events locally. Together, we’ll pour red sand into the cracks of the sidewalks as a visual reminder of those who are too often overlooked and exploited. This simple yet impactful act invites our community to pause, reflect and commit to creating a future where every person is seen, valued and protected.
