In all we do, we depend on God’s goodness, generosity, and protection to serve survivors and stand against the dark. Thank you for praying with us!

“I ask the Father that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19

We are praying for:

• That God would convict hearts, expose the deeds of darkness, and draw evildoers to repentance to bring an end to trafficking.

• That our governments would enact just policies to provide protection and reintegration for survivors.

• That survivors would encounter the love of God and experience true freedom.

• The Spirit's peace to rule in our hearts and North Star's homes.

• Meaningful work for each resident who is looking for work opportunities.

• Reliable transportation for two residents who have started working. We are asking the Father to provide affordable used cars for three survivors who have gained their driver's licenses and need vehicles to maintain their work.

• Breakthroughs for the residents who are struggling to gain steadiness in their mental health.

• Two staff positions that we are seeking to fill, that we would soon meet the teammates that the Father has prepared for us.

  We are praising God for:

  • A resident starting the first job of her choice!

  • A graduate who is starting her last semester of college classes to earn her associate's degree!

  • Sponsors and partners joining us to amplify generosity at Light the Way, our annual fundraiser.

  • A deeply meaningful and refreshing staff retreat.

  • The recovery specialists who support residents every week in their sobriety goals.

  • Volunteers who make a difference to our team and residents every week with their diligent service

  • New Board members committing to a term of service to steward North Star's mission.

  • An invitation to present information at a global conference that could benefit organizations across the movement.

  • The passing of a new bill in Pennsylvania that will hold criminals accountable for exploiting vulnerable victims.

  • The certainty that God will empower us to do each good thing he planned for us long ago, because he has created us anew.

Thank you for your continued prayers. God is working through each of you!
