In all we do, we depend on God’s goodness, generosity, and protection to serve survivors and stand against the dark. Thank you for being willing to partner with us as one of our prayer warriors. Here are some specific prayers for our current season at NSI~
April Prayer Requests:
For residents to respond to experience spiritual healing through God’s love.
Two new residents joined North Star in the past month, one at each shelter. As they begin programming, pray for peace and stability, as well as access to the necessary medical appointments.
As residents adjust to new jobs, pray for stamina and resilience.
For an affordable, reliable car for a resident who will graduate this summer and needs transportation to continue pursuing her employment goals.
For our team's health. Many of us have struggled with illnesses in the last few weeks.
God’s unique provision for our needs this quarter, through grants, donor relationships, and the gifts of services and products that will support our residents’ needs.
For God to bring new team members to open positions and for patience and grace as we navigate being short-staffed in the meantime.
April Praises:
New partnerships with medical providers willing to support our residents.
Presentations across both Berks and Lancaster counties, with groups of professionals interested in learning how to be more effective, together, in recognizing potential trafficking scenarios.
Ongoing provision for our daily needs. We are in God’s hands, and they’re good hands.
Friends in the community providing needed updates and repairs to both houses.
